Skimdevil Pure: Pre-Order Update #3
Hi everyone,
We’re excited to announce that our Skimdevil Pure is almost ready to ship! Break out the swimsuits, pool drinks, and sunscreen.
The newest motherboard arrived from the manufacturer on Monday and this one seems to be the final version. Yay! Our small team is beyond THRILLED as this process has been almost a year in the making. There have been many sleepless nights and countless Zoom calls to get us to this point.
Now, the fun part—testing its functions and writing code. Much more enjoyable and a much quicker process. Machine learning anyone?
Our team has moved from the warehouse to the pool, tweaking code, testing skimming power, checking charging, etc. We’re not going to lie, there have been more than a few cheers watching the Pure zoom around the pool, picking up leaves. :)
So what does this mean for shipping? Over the next three weeks or less, we’re going to be testing the Skimdevil daily and working out all of the kinks. We will also be finalizing our app and testing it with the robot. We expect to begin shipping the Skimdevil Pure at the beginning of July.
Again, we do sincerely apologize for this delay and are very thankful for many of you for bearing with us through this process. Your support in us and our small business has been tremendous and truly does mean a lot.
