We’ve been hard at work over the last 2.5 weeks! The focus of our efforts continues to be ensuring the Skimdevil Pure's performance meets our standards for quality, reliability, and performance. As a family-owned-and-operated business, we take pride in our work and frankly, we won’t ship a product that falls short of our standards.
Just like many of you, we continue to work, live, and socially distance in sometimes less than ideal environments. The global pandemic’s impact on our small team has been one of the delays: things simply take longer for us to do given the much needed safety measures that have been enacted. We continue to be extremely grateful for your support and understanding!
So, the Skimdevil Pure news:
- We’ve discovered and addressed some hardware and firmware issues that were causing inconsistent performance—great work team!!
- We are now focused on implementing these updates across the entire production line of Skimdevils.
- We will begin field testing some of our units over the next several days. We will be reaching out to some of you for assistance and thank you in advance for your support, participation and feedback!
We remain extremely confident in our robotic skimmer and our team. The Skimdevil Pure is a product we stand behind and take pride in. We expect the best, expect to deliver the best, and won’t settle for anything less. We know we have incredible customers who have stood by us over the past few years, and through the delayed launch of the Pure, and continue to believe in our team and our Skimdevil robot. We thank you for trusting us and sticking with us through it all.
